Midland 'Enhanced Fittings' Package For Next Generation Railroad Tank Car Project Receives AAR Approval For Service Trial

Skokie, IL – Midland Manufacturing, the global leader in railroad tank car safety valves and equipment, and a division of OPW Fluid transfer Group, has received AAR service trial approval for its 'Enhanced Fittings' package for Chlorine service. This is a part of the Next Generation Railroad Tank Car (NGRTC) project, a joint collaboration whose principles from the Chlorine Tank Car Development Panel are: The Dow Chemical Company, Union Tank Car Company, Union Pacific Railroad, Occidental Chemical, Bayer AG and Alltranstek. This group is working in cooperation with the Federal Railroad Administration, Transport Canada, and the Transportation Security Administration and is supported by: Engineering Systems, Inc., Applied Research Associates, Inc., Southwest Research Institute, and the Transportation Technology Center, Inc.

OPW Engineered Systems Loading Arms Provide Safe And Efficient Transfer of LPG at Eastern Liquids Terminal

Lebanon, OH – OPW Engineered Systems, a leading manufacturer of systems for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of hazardous materials and a division of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, announced the Sparta Junction, NJ, LPG terminal that is supplied by Targa Midstream Services and operated by Eastern Liquids, LLC upgraded its loading arms to LPG 'A' Frame Loading Arms. Designed and manufactured by OPW Engineered Systems, the 'A' Frame Loading Arms have provided the Sparta Junction LPG terminal with safe, efficient and ergonomically appealing transfer of propane since the upgrade.
